Terms of service
Updated 1 June 2026
The rules of engagement between you and GoldEagle. Written to be read, not to be survived.
The agreement
These terms are between GoldEagle Security Inc. (“we”) and the organisation that opens an account (“you”). By creating an account, deploying our software, or signing an order form that references these terms, you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.
Where an executed order form or enterprise agreement says something different, that document wins.
What we provide
Access to the GoldEagle platform — Radar, Sentinel, Talon and Vault — at the plan level you purchased, together with any professional services described in your order form. We may improve, add to, or change how features work; we will not remove a material feature from a paid plan mid-term without offering you a way out.
Your account
- Keep your credentials secret. Anything done with your keys is treated as done by you.
- Tell us at security@goldeagle.io as soon as you suspect a compromise.
- You are responsible for what your users and your own customers do through your account.
Acceptable use
Do not use GoldEagle to:
- Inspect, intercept or block traffic on infrastructure you do not own or are not authorised to defend.
- Attack, probe or stress-test systems belonging to anyone else, including ours, without written permission.
- Break the law, infringe someone's rights, or work around export controls and sanctions.
- Resell, sublicense or white-label the platform, unless your order form says you may.
- Reverse-engineer the software, or use it to build a competing product.
We may suspend an account immediately if it is causing active harm. We will tell you why, and we will restore access as soon as it is safe to.
Testing and research
You may test GoldEagle against your own systems freely. If you want to test our systems, our bug-bounty programme is the way in: stay inside its scope, do not touch other customers' data, and give us time to fix what you find. Do that, and we will not pursue you — we will thank you, and pay you.
Uptime and support
- Nest: best effort, community support.
- Flight: 99.9% control-plane availability, support 8×5, four-hour first response.
- Talon: 99.99% control-plane availability, support 24×7, fifteen-minute response on P1.
The enforcement path is designed to fail open or fail closed according to your setting — you choose, per policy, what happens if we cannot reach a verdict. Service credits for a missed SLA are set out in your order form and are your exclusive remedy for downtime.
Fees and billing
Usage plans are billed monthly in arrears on the calls we inspected. Committed plans are billed as agreed in the order form. Invoices are due within 30 days. Late invoices accrue interest at 1.5% a month or the legal maximum, whichever is lower. Fees exclude tax; you cover any tax that applies.
You can leave a usage plan at any time. We do not refund partial months, and we do not hold your data hostage: export is available for 30 days after termination.
Data and confidentiality
Your data is yours. We process it only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy notice and any data-processing agreement we sign. We keep your confidential information confidential, and you do the same with ours, for as long as it stays confidential.
We may publish aggregate, anonymised statistics about attack patterns across our customer base. Nothing published will identify you or reveal your traffic.
Intellectual property
We keep every right in the platform, the software, and our documentation. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it during your subscription. If you send us feedback, we may act on it without owing you anything — and we usually do act on it.
Warranties
We warrant that the service will perform materially as documented, and that we will provide it with reasonable skill and care. We do not warrant that GoldEagle will stop every attack. No security product can, and any vendor telling you otherwise is selling something. Beyond the warranties stated here, the service is provided as-is.
Liability
Neither side is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost data, even if warned it might happen. Each side's total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to cap.
Term and termination
The agreement runs until it is terminated. Either side may end it for material breach if the breach is not cured within 30 days of written notice. On termination, your right to use the platform stops, we delete your data on the schedule in the privacy notice, and any clause that ought to survive — confidentiality, liability, payment owed — survives.
Governing law
California law governs, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state and federal courts in San Francisco, and both sides consent to that. Enterprise customers may negotiate a different forum in their order form.
